Many animals are turned into area shelters or rehomed due to behavior problems that pets can develop. Remember that animals are not robots, and pet training is ongoing! If you need help with a training issue, please seek help BEFORE surrendering your pet becomes your only choice. Resources are available at your veterinarian, dog trainers, the internet, and here at our animal shelter.
