Butterscotch and Toffee

Butterscotch and Toffee came in together and would like to stay together, but they are ready to strike out on their own too if the right home is available.  Their adoption fee is $5 each.  We are guessing they are about 6 months-1 year old.  We believe they are full grown. Butterscotch weighs 3lbs and Toffee weighs 4lbs.  They both like to be held and petted.

Kitten season is the time of year when cats give birth, flooding animal shelters and rescue groups across the nation with homeless litters. Kitten season is really three seasons in one, starting in spring, peaking in late spring or early summer, and ending in fall.

Dealing with Pet Loss: Preparations

We all love our pets madly. They are a constant source of unconditional love, friendship, affection and often of great entertainment. But unfortunately, their life spans are usually much shorter than our own.

                We prepare for the loss of our human loved ones, so why not prepare for the loss of our animal companions? If it’s too hard to think about now, at least ask a close family member or friend in advance to help you to make these difficult decisions when the time comes.

Easing Vet Visit Vexations

Tax time is here! Now is the perfect time to take your animal to the vet.  As pet owners, we all know how traumatic it can be to take your animal to the vet. The hissing, growling, whining, the defensive scratching or biting, the loss of control of the bladder or bowels —anxiety is just downright unpleasant for your pet and you.
